ITS Academy – Higher Technical Institutes Academy

Technical education 4.0: new opportunities for everyone

The Istituti Tecnologici Superiori (Higher Technical Institutes – ITS Academy) provide tertiary vocational curricula tied to the local productive system and to the job market, in compliance with the 15th July 2022, n. 99 Law (GU of 26th July 2022, Serie Generale, n. 173). ITS Academy represent the first experience of this type in Italy, finalized to promote youth employment and a knowledge-intensive economy. This is achieved by acknowledging the need for innovation in the education and research system in line with European’s parameters. 

ITS Academy are characterized by the dynamism of their teaching plans, that are updated every year in correlation with the evolution of the job market. Their key features include the central role of businesses in the educational path and the new 4.0 technologies. The aim is to contribute to economic improvement and the competitiveness of the productive system, in relation to the technological areas considered strategic for industrial growth, infrastructure and ecological transition policies.
